Thus, the above problems and current trends in investment activity indicate an unfavorable economic, institutional and security environment for the effective use of the investment potential of the Mykolaiv region. To attract investment to the region, it is necessary to improve the investment potential management system in the context of implementing comprehensive measures that will stimulate the activation of investment and innovation processes. In our opinion, one of these is the formation of an organizational and institutional mechanism for strengthening the investment potential of the region, the implementation of which should occur through the development of a network of effective institutions aimed at providing legal, organizational, technical, and financial support to investment entities at the regional level. Another important direction should be the formation of a cluster mechanism for the development of the investment potential of the Mykolaiv region, which is interconnected with the modernization of existing infrastructure facilities in the region, including the creation of innovation clusters, venture funds, scientific and
