Redirecting a significant amount of financial resources to the needs of the security and defense sector of Ukraine is an expedient, justified and justified step of the government. Since any country that has suffered external armed aggression significantly loses budget revenues and is forced to urgently seek sources of covering the budget deficit, servicing the state debt and at the same time ensuring the full financing of protected items and the needs of the Armed Forces to strengthen the capabilities of the army. A clear definition of priorities and the promptness of amendments to regulatory legal acts affect the effectiveness of budget policy and timely financing of defined goals. In the post-war period, the priorities of budgetary policy will change based on the tasks and goals that will be determined by medium- and long-term programs, projects for the restoration and development of Ukraine. At the same time, the task of increasing the military potential of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and developing the military-industrial complex will continue to remain a priority direction of budgetary policy.
