The main challenges of Russian military aggression for the regions of Ukraine, which determine the low investment climate in general, are identified. The current trends in investment activity of the regions of Ukraine and Mykolaiv region, in particular, as one of the frontline regions, are studied. The improvement of the system of management of the investment potential of the region in the context of the implementation of complex measures that will stimulate the activation of investment and innovation processes is substantiated and proposed.
