The paper examines the impact of mobile technologies on the process of foreign language learning in the modern educational environment. It focuses on mobile applications as tools of e-learning and their role in enhancing the effectiveness of language learning. The paper also emphasizes the potential of mobile devices for developing language skills, personalising learning, and organising students‘ autonomous study.
