Interactivity, gamification, and the use of artificial intelligence in such apps make the learning process more engaging and productive, boosting motivation and accelerating knowledge acquisition. Here is an example of a lesson on the topic of ‗Military Daily Routine‘, using the features of the Speechling and Chatty-English Tutor apps. Topic: Military Daily Routine Level: A2 Lesson aim: Students will be able to describe a military daily routine using the Present Simple and topic vocabulary. 1. Warm-up to refresh vocabulary and build a grammatical and lexical foundation at a sentence level Teacher (T) shows pictures or cards → Students (SS) name the activities: wake up, do PT, have breakfast in the mess, do obstacle course, have lunch, go to bed. T shows times → SS make sentences: Soldiers wake up at 6 a.m. They have drills from 16:00 to 18:00. They do an obstacle course twice a year. 2. Pronunciation Practice using Speechling to develop pronunciation skills and self-control. SS write a text about daily routine in the app, transform the sentences into natural-sounding speech with AI technology, then listen to the sentences and repeat them, recording themselves. Then they compare their speech with the audio sample. 3. Interactive Speaking using Chatty English Tutor to develop conversational skills and comprehension. SS ask questions to Chatty English Tutor and write the answers: - What time do you have lights out? - How often do you do obstacle course?
