164 three power units of the station, therefore, in the summer period, there is a need to reduce the operational capacity of the Yuzhno-Ukrainian NPP [6]. The use of a flexible screen in the flow control structure in the water area of the Tashlyk reservoir- cooler, on which the warm flow from the drainage channel flows, provides for changing the direction of this flow. At the same time, the screen, which reaches the bottom of the reservoir, is affected by non-stationary wall and bottom currents, which cause the screen to bend and oscillate. In the corner regions of the screen, large-scale vortex currents and pressure flows are generated, which lead to the appearance of forces that are non-stationary in time and non-uniform in space [13, 14]. They act both on the screen and on the anchor system that holds it. To determine these forces, processes and mechanisms that generate them, as well as to obtain qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the flow structure, the stress-strain state of the screen web and dynamic loads on the anchor system of the model of the jet guiding structure, it became necessary to conduct numerous and experimental research works. The research, the results of which are presented in this article, was carried out using physical experiment methods [14, 15]. Physical simulation is implemented in laboratory conditions. An experimental stand based on a specially developed and manufactured hydrodynamic channel was used to measure the turbulent velocity and pressure parameters. The stand was equipped with velocity and pressure sensors, control and measuring equipment and data analysis and recording tools. Visualization of the flow using dyes and the introduction of contrast agents and particles into the flow was carried out together with instrumental measurements. The methods of probability theory and mathematical statistics, with the use of space-time correlation and spectral analysis, are used in experimental data processing and analysis systems. In order to carry out physical simulation and studies of the stress-strain state of the flexible curtain and dynamic loads on the anchor system of the model of the jet- guiding structure in the water area of the Tashlyk reservoir-cooler of the South- Ukrainian NPP, experimental installations and stands were developed and manufactured. In them, along with the means of measuring and controlling the
