82 In our view, the introduction of this mechanism has become critically important, as it helped prevent mass redundancies during the first months of the full-scale invasion. Ultimately, reforming labor legislation under martial law must involve striking a balance between the interests of employers, national security needs, and employees‘ labor guarantees. A priority area is strengthening state oversight of compliance with labor legislation and establishing clear regulatory guidelines for the procedure to suspend employment contracts. Only with adequate legal certainty will this mechanism become an effective means of protecting the rights of both parties. REFERENCES: 1.
