The paper considers the problem of shortage of raw materials for the glass industry in the conditions of hostilities and destruction of the infrastructure of Ukraine. The prospects of using secondary glass and glass combat as an important element of the circular economy are substantiated. Special attention is paid to the environmental and technological aspects of processing radiation-resistant lead- containing (Pb-containing) glass into dispersed powder. Ways of further application of such raw materials for the synthesis of new composite materials of strategic purpose are determined. Keywords: secondary glass, glass cullet, recycling, circular economy, strategic materials, lead-containing glass, radiation-resistant glass.
