З нагоди Всесвітнього дня поезії 20 березня у бібліотеці відбувся поетичний слем «Поезія – Всесвіту голос». Організатори заходу мали за мету залучити якомога більше молоді та дорослих до мистецтва поетичного слова, привернути увагу до творчої спадщини українських та зарубіжних поетів-класиків, сучасних авторів, утвердити позитивний імідж поезії як мистецтва, відкритого людям.
Протягом заходу учасники декламували улюблені вірші українських та зарубіжних поетів: Тараса Шевченка, Ліни Костенко, Юлії Друніної, Сергія Єсеніна, Роберта Бернса та інших. Особливо емоційними були виступи студентів МФ Київського національного університету культури і мистецтв. На захід також завітали члени літературних об’єднань «Заря», «Рефлектор», «Стапель», «Фенікс», Пушкінського клубу, студентська молодь, які прочитали авторські поезії. Їхні поетичні твори порушують різні соціальні проблеми нашого життя, розкривають найпотаємніші почуття і думки людини.
Учасники заходу змагалися у знанні української та світової поезії, у складанні рим та анаграм. А наприкінці зустрічі за активну участь у роботі клубу любителів поезії «Поетичний зорепад», що працює на базі бібліотеки вже третій рік, та з нагоди Всесвітнього дня поезії літературні об’єднання отримали подяки.

World poetry day in the library
On the occasion of the World Poetry Day, March 20, a poetry saga «Poetry - The Voice of the Universe» was held at the library. The event's organizers aimed to attract as many young people and adults as possible to the art of a poetic word, to draw attention to the creative heritage of Ukrainian and foreign classical poets, contemporary authors, to establish a positive image of poetry as a modern art open to people.
During the event, participants recited the favorite poems of Ukrainian and foreign poets: Taras Shevchenko, Lina Kostenko, Julia Dvornina, Sergey Yesenin, Robert Burns and others. The performances of the students of the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts were particularly emotional. The members of the literary associations Zarya, Reflector, Stapel, Phoenix, Mykolaiv Pushkin Club, and student youth who read the author's poetry also came to the event. Their poetic works are quite diverse, because they violate various social problems of our lives, reveal the most secret feelings and thoughts of man.
The participants of the event competed in the knowledge of Ukrainian and world poetry, in the compilation of rhymes and anagrams. And at the end of the meeting for active participation in the work of the poetry club Poetic Zorepad, which works on the basis of the library, for the third year in a row and on the occasion of the World Day of Poetry, literary associations have received honorable thanks.
