17 травня городяни та гості міста стали учасниками п’ятигодинного марафону пізнавальних, інформаційних, розважальних та інтерактивних заходів, що відбулися у рамках щорічної регіональної акції «Бібліотечні сутінки».
Цього вечора кожен з відвідувачів мав змогу знайти собі заняття за інтересом та уподобаннями.
Символічно, що саме у Всесвітній день вишиванки працівники бібліотеки спільно з етнографічним відділом Миколаївського обласного краєзнавчого музею та Миколаївським об’єднанням Всеукраїнського товариства «Просвіта» презентували експозицію «Вишиванка – унікальний код твого краю». На експозиції були представлені українські народні костюми Миколаївського регіону з фонду обласного краєзнавчого музею, унікальні старовинні фото миколаївців у вишиванках із приватної колекції Марцінковського І. Б. та книжкова виставка «Українська вишивка – істина нації і таємниця її душі». Також протягом вечора для гостей демонструвалося відео із етнопроекту «Спадок» (режисер О. Гуз), що ілюструє національне святкове вбрання українок у XIX-ХХ ст.
У відділі обслуговування користувачів діяла творча лабораторія «Українські традиції, що вас вразять». В її урочистому відкритті взяли участь вихованці зразкового художнього ансамблю народного танцю «Джерельце» Миколаївського Палацу творчості учнів, які виконали хореографічну композицію «В одне дівча закохані». Перед початком роботи усіх зон творчої лабораторії учасники пройшли своєрідне тестування на знання історії та українських традицій у вікторині «Під чаром рідної землі», переможці якої отримали солодкі смаколики. Під час майстер-класів відвідувачі навчилися виготовляти червоні маки у техніці «цумамі-канзаші» та магічні наузи-обереги з декоративного шнура. Справжніми українськими красунями із заплетеними косами стали усі жінки, які завітали до «салону перукарської майстерності». Не менш зацікавив усіх присутніх патріотичний боді-арт, що надав можливість виразити себе та продемонструвати небайдужість до своєї країни. Гості творчої лабораторії також ознайомилися з різноманіттям української літератури та сфотографувалися на згадку про приємно проведений у бібліотеці час у тематичній фотозоні «Читай українське».
Учасники презентації виставки «Шедеври сучасного поліграфічного мистецтва» у відділі науково-дослідної роботи з рідкісними і цінними виданнями здійснили захопливу подорож по сторінках найяскравіших зразків вітчизняного книгодрукування, дізналися про багатовікові традиції створення шедеврів книжкового мистецтва та особливості сучасного оформлення «розкішних» видань.
У цьому же відділі бажаючі зіграли у захопливу краєзнавчу новинку 2017 р. – настільну гру «Миколаївський магнат». З історією створення та правилами гри гостей ознайомив кандидат історичних наук, заступник директора Миколаївського обласного краєзнавчого музею з наукової роботи Чернявський В. В.
Любителі джазового напрямку занурилися у несподіваний, вільний та натхненний світ джазу завдяки бібліотечному ревю «Jazz freedom dance». Співробітники відділу документів з питань культури і мистецтв разом із гостями згадали історію Jazz dance, поміркували на тему «Джазовий танець та джазова музика: розбіжності та співпадіння» на прикладі відеоматеріалів, наукових монографій та популярної музикознавчої літератури. Студенти-хореографи ВП «МФ КНУКіМ» представили гостям джазові танцювальні композиції та навчили деяким елементам танцю.
Зацікавили гостей заходу майстер-класи з виготовлення записників та зі створення букетів. Особливу цікавість викликав майстер-клас з використання 3D-ручок, під час якого учасники мали можливість створити власні 3D-моделі. Дорослі та діти презентували свої вироби, а найкраща модель була нагороджена пам’ятним подарунком від Інформаційно-ресурсного центру міжнародного партнерства.
Сектор документів іноземними мовами підготував для відвідувачів «Бібліотечних сутінок» лінгво-соціокультурний колаж «Німеччина знайома і незнайома». Цікаві факти з життя німців, відмінності німецького менталітету та укладу життя, особливості культури та традицій, неперевершені краєвиди та кумедні фото стали цікавою інформацією навіть для тих учасників заходу, хто вивчає німецьку не перший рік. А запропонована експрес-вікторина за цією темою допомогла пригадати та закріпити отримані знання.
Найактивніші відвідувачі Регіонального тренінгового центру взяли участь у розважально-інтерактивній грі «Вгадай пісню», під час якої вони пройшли три етапи конкурсу – згадували слова пісень, наспівували знайомі куплети та із задоволенням підтанцьовували.
Під час історичного диліжансу «Пані здавала в багаж…» гості дізналися про правила перевезення багажу у різних країнах та курйозні історії, пов’язані з подорожами. Учасники зіграли в ігри «Вгадай, чий багаж» та «Щасливий саквояж». Увазі присутніх була запропонована інтерактивна виставка, де експонувалися старовинні і сучасні чемодани та книги, періодичні видання з історії модних сумочок, валіз, чемоданів. Крім того, під час заходу, бажаючі мали можливість створити власноруч брелоки до сумочок.
Наприкінці вечора на відвідувачів чекали українські розваги: українські традиційні та сучасні забави, конкурси та жарти.
Гості, які відвідали обласну наукову бібліотеку вперше, мали змогу скористатися акцією безоплатного запису читачів, взяти участь в екскурсіях найпотаємнішими місцями бібліотеки та ознайомитися з виставкою світлин минулих років регіональної акції «Бібліотечні сутінки». Свої враження гості бібліотеки залишили на стендах та у книзі відгуків та побажань. Сподіваємося, що «сутінки» усім сподобалися, і чекаємо наступного року. У цей вечір 662 відвідувача отримали море позитиву та приємних вражень, а у бібліотеки з’явилося 50 нових читачів завдяки акції безоплатного запису.
Акції «Бібліотечні сутінки» пройшли в бібліотеках районних ЦБС області.

Library Twilight 2018
On May 17, the library invited city dwellers and guests of the city for a five-hour marathon of cognitive, informational, entertaining and interactive events held within the framework of the traditional regional event "Library Twilight".
This evening, each visitor was able to find an activity of interest and preferences.
Symbolically, it was on the All-Ukrainian embroidery day that many guests were in traditional clothes, and the library staff presented the exhibition "Vishivanka - unique code of your region", which was prepared jointly with the ethnographic department of the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore and the Mykolaiv Association of the All-Ukrainian Society "Prosvita" . The exhibition includes elements of the Ukrainian folk costumes of the Mykolaiv region from the museum's fund, unique vintage photographs of Mykolaiv in embroidered vests made from the private collection of I. I. Martsinkovsky and a book exhibition "Ukrainian embroidery - the truth of the nation and the mystery of her soul". Also, during the evening, a video of the ethnocultural project "Heritage" (directed by O. Guz) was shown to the guests of the event, illustrating the national holiday dress of Ukrainian women in the 19th-20th centuries.
This evening, a creative laboratory "Ukrainian traditions that hit you" was held in the customer service department. The pupils of the exemplary artistic ensemble of folk dance "Dzhereltse" of the Mykolaiv Palace of creativity of students who performed the choreographic composition "In One Lover's Girl" took part in its solemn opening. Before the work of all the zones of the creative laboratory was immediately initiated, the participants passed a peculiar test on the knowledge of history and Ukrainian traditions in the quiz "Under the Magic of the Native Land", whose winners received sweet savor. Visitors learned to make red poppies in the technique of "tsumami-kanzashi" and the magic teachings of the decorative cord. True Ukrainian beauties with braided braids became all the women who came to the salon of hairdressing skills. Not less interesting was the patriotic body-art present, which gave an opportunity to express oneself and demonstrate indifference to their country. The guests of the creative laboratory got acquainted with the diversity of Ukrainian literature and displayed themselves in the memory of a pleasant time spent in the library in the thematic photo-area "Read Ukrainian".
In the department of research with rare and valuable publications, those who wished to play played the "Mykolaiv magnate" board game - an exciting ethnographic novelty in 2017. The history of creation and the rules of the guests was acquainted with the candidate of historical sciences, deputy director of the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local Lore, Cherniavsky V.V.
Jazz fans immerse themselves in the unexpected, free and inspirational world of jazz thanks to the library revision Jazz freedom dance, devoted to the history and the present of jazz dance. The staff of the Department of Cultural and Arts Documents together with the guests recalled the history of Jazz dance, contemplating "Jazz dance and jazz music: differences and coincidences" on the example of video materials, scientific monographs and popular music literature. Students-choreographers of VP "MF KNYKIM" presented jazz dance compositions to the guests and taught some elements of dance.
In the department of research with rare and valuable publications, the presentation of the exhibition "Masterpieces of Modern Printing Arts" was held, where jubilee and gift publications submitted to the library's library were presented recently. The participants of the meeting made an exciting journey through the pages of the most vivid examples of domestic printing, learned about centuries-long traditions of creating masterpieces of book art and the peculiarities of the contemporary design of "magnificent" editions. The exhibition featured the books of leading Ukrainian publishing companies specializing in the production of elite editions intended for a respectable audience and of true interest to bibliophiles, admirers of fine, collectors. These are such publishers as "Publisher Corbus", "Baltika Druk", "Bogdan", publishing house "School", etc.
The guests of the event were interested in various master classes held on this day: from the production of notebooks "Book from A to Z", "Paperweather" for creating bouquets, and also meeting with the artist-illustrator Grusna Iryna "Draw heroes of books". Of particular interest was the master-class on the use of 3-D pens, during which participants had the opportunity to create their own 3-D models. Adults and children presented their products, and the best model was awarded a memorable gift from the Center for International Partnership.
The foreign language sector has prepared a lingua-socio-cultural collage "Familiar and unfamiliar to Germany" for visitors of the Library Twilight. Interesting facts about the lives of the Germans, the differences in the German mentality and lifestyles, peculiarities of culture and traditions, unsurpassed landscapes and funny photos have become interesting information even for those participants of the event who are studying German not the first year. And the proposed express quiz on the topic helped to recall and consolidate the knowledge gained. All interested persons had the opportunity to get acquainted with the exhibition "Meet - Germany!" from the library.
The most active visitors of the Regional Training Center took part in the entertaining and interactive game "Guess the song", during which they passed the three stages of the contest, in which they recalled the words of the song, chanted the familiar couplets and happily danced. In the end all the participants of the game got sweets.
During the historical stagecoach "Lady handed over to luggage ..." the guests learned about the rules of carrying luggage in different countries and funny stories related to travel. The participants played the game "Guess whose luggage" and checked their luck with the help of the "Happy Carpetbag". Attendees were offered an interactive exhibition where books, periodicals on the history of fashion handbags, suitcases, and things of the corresponding subjects were exhibited. In addition, during the event, participants can create their own handbags for their bags.
At the end of the evening there were Ukrainian entertainments, during which Ukrainian traditional and modern entertainments, competitions and jokes were waiting for visitors.
Visitors who visited the regional scientific library for the first time were able to take advantage of a free readership action, to take part in excursions to the most secret places of the library, to select interesting books from the "bookcrosing" shelf, and to get acquainted with the exhibition of photographs of past years of the regional action "Library Twilight". The guests of the library left their impressions on the stands and in the book of feedback and wishes.
