282 European, World and Olympic Games. Yana was the first woman who won repeatedly five European titles. She was especially good at medley swimming and was one of the best swimmers in the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Klochkova started swimming in 1989 under the guidance of the coaches Nina and Olexander Kozhuh. The first significant turning point in the career of an athlete was the victory in 1996 at the European championship among juniors in Denmark at the distance of 5 m. Yana Klochkova graduated from Kharkov school of physical culture and sport, then she entered Kyiv National University of Physical Culture and Sport. She studied at the faculty of Olympic and professional sports. Klochkova won four Olympic gold medals – two at the Sydney 2000 Olympics (200m and 400m individual medley) and two at the Athens 2004 Olympics (in the same events). She was recognized as the best swimmer in the world [1, c.24]. In 2004 Yana Klochkova won the highest award of the country-the title of Hero of Ukraine and she was awarded the Hero of Ukraine medal. She was famous for her speed, strong technique, and hard work. Because of her many victories, people called her "The Golden Fish" of Ukraine. In 2004 she was named by Swimming World Magazine the World Female Swimmer of the Year. She formally retired from swimming in 2009 [3]. Elina Svitolina Elina Svitolina is a prominent Ukrainian professional female tennis player. She was born on September 12, 1994 in Odesa. She started playing tennis when she was five years old and quickly became one of the best young players in the world. Svitolina has won many WTA tournaments, including the WTA Finals in 2018. She also reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon and the US Open in 2019. One of her biggest achievements was at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, where she won a bronze medal – the first Olympic tennis medal in the history of Ukraine. In 2022, Svitolina took a break from professional tennis to give birth to her first child. She made a strong comeback upon her return to competition in 2023, reaching the French Open quarterfinals and the Wimbeldon semifinals in her first few
