The article examines the transformation of regional systems of international relations in the context of contemporary global transformations. Particular attention is paid to the influence of economic, environmental, and security challenges on the functioning and development of regional cooperation mechanisms. The study analyzes the dynamics of regional integration processes in the European Union, Eastern Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, emphasizing their adaptation to globalization, geopolitical instability, and emerging hybrid threats. It is argued that global economic crises, climate change, energy security issues, and geopolitical tensions significantly affect the stability and resilience of regional systems. The research demonstrates that despite differences in historical development and institutional structures, regional systems increasingly rely on coordinated policies, integration platforms, and collective mechanisms of cooperation to respond effectively to global challenges. The findings indicate that the transformation of regional systems represents a key element of the contemporary international order and contributes to strengthening regional stability, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
