The contemporary world is characterized by the high dynamism of international relations and the significant intensification of globalization processes encompassing economic, political, social, and environmental spheres. The growing interdependence of states and regions makes their systems of international relations increasingly integrated while simultaneously increasing their vulnerability to global challenges. Globalization contributes not only to economic development and technological diffusion but also generates new risks, including geopolitical instability, environmental disasters, economic crises, social inequalities, and migration processes. In this context, the transformation of regional systems of international relations has become one of the key directions of contemporary political science and international law research, as regional stability and development on a global scale largely depend on its effectiveness [3,6]. The transformation of regional systems occurs under the influence of a complex combination of economic, political, security, and environmental factors. Economic challenges include the impact of global markets, financial crises, uneven development of states, and regional integration processes. Political transformations are reflected in the rethinking of regional security frameworks, the strengthening of the role of international organizations, and the formation of new mechanisms of cooperation. Environmental problems, such as climate change, environmental pollution, and resource scarcity, challenge the sustainability of regional development and require integrated approaches to their resolution. Security threats, in turn, include not only traditional military conflicts but also hybrid risks, cyber threats, terrorism, and transnational crime, which significantly influence the functioning of regional systems. The relevance of this topic is determined by the need for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms through which global challenges influence regional integration
