Counter-Munition Development Prospects The future of countering Guided Glide Bombs (KAB) will leverage the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Automated Command and Control (C2) systems, and next-generation interception technologies. The advancement of Mobile Air Defense Systems and high-precision Counter-Air capabilities to engage enemy aviation will remain paramount. Furthermore, a priority developmental vector is the engineering of cost-effective interceptors. Utilizing high-cost guided missiles against relatively inexpensive glide bombs often lacks economic viability. Guided Glide Bombs have emerged as a significant challenge to Ukraine‘s contemporary defense system. Their high precision and standoff range require a comprehensive, multi-layered countermeasure strategy. Effective neutralization of the GABs threat is achievable only through the combined employment of Integrated Air and Missile Defense , Electronic Warfare , Offensive Counter-Air operations against aviation infrastructure, Advancements in Early Warning Systems (EWS).
