In addition, in animals with high LOC, a significantly larger number of binuclear hepatocytes by 44% and a binuclear / mononuclear hepatocyte ratio by 46% were found, which may indicate more intensive intracellular regeneration processes. Also, in these rats, a significantly larger distance between the nuclei of adjacent hepatocytes by 31% was found, which is most likely due to larger cell sizes. The number of nucleoli in the nuclei of hepatocytes of rats with different LOC did not differ significantly (Table 1). Table 1.
