This is evidenced by a 25% smaller relative area of connective tissue, a 28% smaller Vizotto coefficient (ratio of relative area of connective tissue to area of sinusoid) and a 15% smaller number of connective tissue cells and their ratio to the number of hepatocytes compared to rats with low LOC (Fig. 1). The smaller the amount of connective tissue in the liver, the greater its functional activity, better intercellular interaction, etc. Fig. 1. Further studies are needed to fully understand the mechanisms of the relationship between the level of oxygen consumption and the state of the liver parenchyma, which we plan to do in the future. The results obtained are interesting for practical medicine in developing new effective methods for the prevention and treatment of liver pathology in patients depending on their LOC. Conclusions Rats with different levels of oxygen consumption have differences in the structure of the liver.
