The thesis highlights the use of digital tools in Maritime English with a focus on activating speaking skills, which is crucial for the development of communication competence, critical thinking, and teamwork of future seafarers. The paper analyzes the educational value of platforms such as Canva, Miro, Mentimeter, Quizizz, and Wizer.me for both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. Particular emphasis is placed on using such platforms during offline lessons to improve vocabulary, grammar, speaking, and presentation skills. The thesis argues that digital tools can serve as supplementary tools to enhance knowledge and practical skills.
