These narratives were again directed, primarily, to the American audience, with the purpose to amplify the isolationist and anti-Ukrainian narratives. The narrative regarding colossal corruption in Ukraine equally is one of the leading manipulation narratives in the discourse of Russian propaganda, primarily, to the Western countries audience that support Ukraine in the war against Russia. Y. Mendel through a disinformation practice applies the topic of corruption in her interview as a tool to discredit the international support for Ukraine. In particular, Y. Mendel statements concerning the widespread misappropriation of the Western funds were documented . The speaker questions the effectiveness of aid, constructing an image of Ukraine as a fully corrupt state. In this context, the key manipulative element in Y. Mendel`s discourse is the lack of distinction between domestic corruption and international financial assistance. It can be argued that this narrative is primarily utilized by Y. Mendel to undermine support for Ukraine among Western taxpayers. Furthermore, as part of efforts to discredit international support for Ukraine, the speaker reproduces the narrative of Russian propaganda that support for Ukraine in Western media is an artificial information campaign, experts and bloggers work operates solely on the basis of grants, and that all positive messages about Ukraine are published for money. Such rhetoric echoes Russian narratives concerning ―paid support for Ukraine‖ and ―external control over Ukraine‖, in order to construct the perception among the audience that international solidarity with Ukraine is not a consequence of the real dynamics of the war, but rather a formed outcome of media technologies. Additionally to the analysis of the four aforementioned communicative frames in which narrative framing was applied, we managed to identify the dissemination of conspiratorial elements in significant numbers. These complise: insinuations of hidden conspiracies, references to ―insiders‖, statements without an evidentiary basis. For instance, a statement about secret agreement between V. Zelensky and V. Putin regarding the ceding of Donbas.
