178 The use of conspiratorial framing is one of the characteristics of modern Russian propaganda as it enables more emotionally driven influence on the audience through narrative frames, reduces critical thinking among recipients, and creates an atmosphere of distrust toward official sources of ―enemy countries‖. In conclusion, the discourse analysis of Y. Mendel`s interview with T. Carson on 11 May 2026 enables us to record the presence of numerous discursive similarities between the speaker's statements and the key Russian propaganda narratives. Among the identified: delegitimization of Ukrainian authorities, construction of the narratives concerning ―futility of the war‖, manipulation framing of mass corruption obstacles in Ukraine, discursive techniques aimed to discredit international support for Ukraine, the emphasis on widespread of public disillusionment in Ukraine regarding democratic processes and the erosion of trust in freedom of speech‖, conspiratorial framing. Accordingly, in the Y. Mendel statements during the course of the interview with T. Karlson, analysis reveals techniques of manipulative framing, including the use of emotionally colored half-truths strategies that combine real issues with manipulative generalizations. This suggests that the interview may be considered as a direct instance of a propaganda discourse aimed at strengthening Russian narratives in the Western media sphere. REFERENCES: 1. Turanskyi, M.
