CCARIAi had significant (r=0.3, p=0.028) positive, however weak, correlation with NIHSS score on admission, as well as ICA stenosis degree Ai (r= -0.3, p= 0.014) and ECAVdAi that significantly (r= -0.2, p= 0.029) but also weakly, however, negatively correlated with mRS on admission. The ECA TAMAX Ai also had a weak negative although significant correlation (r= -0.3, p= 0.02) with mRS on admission. Conlcusion . Although the selected carotid Doppler sonography indices asymmetry was shown to have weak correaltions with ischaemic stroke in carotid basin severity, the statistical significance of the correlation might have a potential in establishing stroke severity correlation depending on ischemic stroke side in carotid basin for ischemic stroke risk stratification and prognosis improvement.
