44 identification of students‘ current needs, risk factors, and priority areas of social work within higher education institutions [4, p. 214; 6, p. 114]. In order to identify the social, adaptation-related, and psycho-emotional needs of student youth, a social diagnosis was conducted using an author-designed questionnaire and the «State-Trait Anxiety Inventory» methodology (C. Spielberger, adapted by Yu. Khanin) [5, p. 312]. The study involved 47 first-year students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy. The sample structure was dominated by female students, accounting for 83.0% (39 individuals), while male students constituted 17.0% (8 individuals). The diagnostic results demonstrated that among the vulnerable categories of students participating in the study, children of combatants accounted for the largest proportion — 17.0% (8 individuals), followed by internally displaced persons — 14.9% (7 individuals) (Table 1).
