45 new educational environment is accompanied by challenges that may negatively affect academic performance, social activity, and psycho-emotional well-being. Among the main difficulties accompanying the learning process, respondents most frequently identified excessive academic workload — 46.8% (22 individuals), increased anxiety — 34.0% (16 individuals), and communication difficulties — 23.4% (11 individuals) (Fig. 1). These findings confirm that student adaptation is a complex process influenced not only by academic demands, but also by socio- economic and psycho-emotional factors. Fig. 1. Main Difficulties Experienced by Students During the Learning Process According to the results of the C. Spielberger methodology (adapted by Yu. Khanin), a moderate level of anxiety was identified in 31.9% (15 individuals) of students, while a high level of anxiety was identified in 21.3% (10 individuals) (Table 2). These findings indicate psycho-emotional tension among first-year students during the first month of university study and confirm the necessity of implementing measures aimed at supporting students‘ mental health.
