14 implementation of the proposed measures will contribute to the formation of an integrated mechanism of financial and innovative development of the food industry, within which state support will stimulate the innovative activity of enterprises, innovative development will enhance the investment attractiveness of the industry, and attracted financial resources will ensure further modernization of production and deeper integration of Ukraine into the European economic space [4, p. 173]. Overall, within the context of the study, a conceptual model illustrating the interaction between innovative and financial determinants of food industry development was developed. The model includes four functional blocks: the external environment, financial determinants, innovative determinants, and the efficiency block. The proposed model makes it possible to comprehensively characterize the mechanisms of direct and reverse influence between individual elements of the system. Priority directions of state policy for supporting the industry have been substantiated. The analysis revealed that the main barriers to the innovation and investment development of the food industry remain the high cost of credit resources, insufficient state stimulation, limited investment resources, destruction of production and logistics infrastructure as a result of military aggression, and the need to adapt enterprises to the technical, environmental, and safety standards of the European Union.
