101 socialization, but also an active process of self-determination, which ensures the formation of a holistic, conscious and socially responsible personality, capable of preserving and developing national values in modern society. Revealing the essence of national identity is impossible without analyzing its structure, which reflects the internal organization of this phenomenon and allows us to identify the mechanisms of its formation and functioning. It is the structural approach that allows us not only to describe national identity as a holistic entity, but also to understand the interrelationship of its components and their role in the development of the individual. As L. Kostyuk and N. Mulyar [8] point out, national identity is considered as an individual's awareness of his belonging to the community of citizens of the state, which is manifested in the formation of legal consciousness, a sense of patriotism and responsibility for social processes. In this context, it acts as an important component of the general identity of the individual and is closely related to national identity, since it ensures the practical implementation of a civic position through compliance with the norms of law, participation in public life and awareness of one's own role in the development of the state. The presented approach emphasizes that the structure of national identity is not abstract, but is directly related to the real manifestations of personality in social space. It encompasses both internal mental processes (awareness, experiences, values) and external forms of their implementation (behavior, activity, social activity). Thus, the generalization of modern scientific approaches allows us to consider the structure of national identity as a system of interconnected components, each of which performs a specific function, but at the same time cannot exist in isolation from the others. Such an approach emphasizes its integrative nature and ensures the integrity of personal development. REFERENCES: 1. Horiachok I., Barantsova I., Taranenko Yu.
