We have presented the logic of the structure of the lecture approach, along with its syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. The foundations of diagnostic thinking wherein the diagnosis is correlated with a complex diagnostic context were set out. Components of this context include the patient, the diagnostician, the methods of diagnostic reasoning, and the specific medical knowledge used. Methods may include one or more logics for structural lecture design and using them in diagnostic thinking and reasoning. It is shown that the lecture process is a social and professional algorithm, since the acquisition of medical knowledge that creates diagnosis and treatment is a human social practice based on the institution of scientific rules.
