The director must comprehensively analyze every stage of mastering the craft and maintain an «Instructor‘s video diary,» while also encouraging students to keep a «Student diary.» This serves as an effective tool for the fruitful and rewarding development of the individuality of each student training to become a theater actor. Ultimately, this is a profession that shapes the individual of the future—instilling the highest moral ideals—in order to influence and improve society. Societal development is driven by various factors, and the art of theatre undoubtedly holds a significant place among them. The training process must be highly focused and result-oriented, aiming—over the course of four years—to equip the aspiring actor with effective tools for the organic, soulful embodiment of dramatic material (in order to exert the deepest possible impact on the audience‘s inner world). We can certainly compare the profession of an actor with that of a teacher. Both of these professional fields aim to transform and improve the individual, as it is the spiritually developed person who becomes happier and more productive. In the course of our studies, while seeking material centered on characters embodying spiritual ideals, we identified such traits in Ukrainian drama and the fable genre—specifically in Lesia Ukrainka‘s «The Forest Song» and Mykyta Hodovanets‘s fable «The Dog and the Jackdaw» [1, 3]. Mavka and Halka are the key characters around whom the main events unfold; both possess the ability to «hear the voice of their own hearts.» Several elements of the work are particularly noteworthy. The character of Mavka is shaped by specific events—specifically, actions directed at her and actions she initiates toward those around her. Lesya Ukrainka comprehensively and deeply reveals the protagonist‘s heartfelt nature, sincerity, naivety, kindness, capacity for forgiveness, and compassion. We see a figure devoid of negative qualities, whose behavior is flawless. Forgiveness, self-sacrifice, a lack of malice, and gentleness are the finest traits of this person‘s character.
