120 Audiences showered the students with gifts, while colleagues from the department offered high praise to the director—the author of this article. Our practical presentations were framed by the musical works of Vasyl Barvinsky. The piano instructor—a co-author of our research—also studied and performed Vasyl Barvinsky‘s «Trio» with students from the National Music Academy of Ukraine in 1996. At that time, the piece was rarely performed in Ukraine outside of its western regions. Undoubtedly, it is vitally important today to study and perform the music of this talented Ukrainian artist as widely as possible. This authentic national music effectively captures the inner worlds of the sensitive female characters Mavka and Halka. The delicate, dance-like music of the «Trio» will help the student actresses reveal the graceful, fragile, and sincere natures of the works‘ protagonists. [ 4,5].
