Such tasks activate professional vocabulary, encourage teamwork, help organize ideas more effectively through visualization, and improve public speaking skills. In conclusion, digital technologies have become a part of modern ESP classes. Being integrated in both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments, they help to develop communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork, and professional knowledge. Even though digital platforms are often considered to be the main instrument for online education, they can significantly contribute to offline learning by increasing interaction, engagement, and student-centered learning. Digital tools such as Canva, Miro, Mentimeter, Wizer.me, and Quizizz enable ESP teachers to create an authentic, professionally oriented environment that meets the communication demands of the maritime industry. However, digital technology shouldn‘t be regarded as a replacement for traditional teaching methods.
