314 – Peripheral polyneuropathy: gymnastics aimed at proprioception and fine motor skills is a key link in neurorehabilitation. Special gymnastics helps to reduce numbness of the extremities and restore the sensitivity of nerve endings. – Immunosuppression: moderate loads contribute to the modulation of the immune response and improve lymph microcirculation, which potentially has a favorable effect on the prognosis. - Psychological state: physical activity reduces the level of anxiety and depression, which often accompany long-term treatment. 4) If we look at this problem from the socio-economic aspect, we can distinguish such a concept as ―sarcopenia‖ (loss of muscle mass) and a decrease in the functional reserves of the body, leading to long-term disability. The development of scientifically based physical rehabilitation protocols allows to shorten the recovery time and accelerate the reintegration of patients into the social and labor sphere, which is of high social importance. To overcome these negative consequences, it is recommended to combine aerobic exercise, flexibility exercises and light strength training [3, 4]. Aerobic exercise (cardio): – Walking: The safest type of activity. It is recommended to walk for 30-40 minutes twice a day at a comfortable pace. – Exercise bike: Suitable for maintaining endurance. – Swimming: Useful, but prohibited during radiation therapy in pools with chlorinated water due to the risk of skin irritation. – Flexibility and coordination exercises: Stretching and yoga: Help maintain joint mobility and reduce stress levels. – Breathing exercises: Useful for improving oxygen exchange and stimulating lymph flow (e.g. diaphragmatic breathing every 2 hours). – Strength exercises: Bodyweight exercises or light weights to strengthen muscles are allowed, if approved by a doctor [2]. Important limitations and contraindications.
