279 long jump indicators were 205.52±1.74 cm versus 187.01±3.96 cm, respectively (p<0.001). The obtained results indicate a higher level of functional adaptation of the organism of young futsal players to physical loads. Indicators of physical preparedness may be considered informative criteria for the sports selection of promising young futsal players. Modern futsal belongs to highly dynamic team sports characterized by significant intensity of motor activity, rapid changes in game situations, and high demands on the functional support of the athlete‘s organism [2; 5; 9]. The effectiveness of competitive activity in futsal largely depends not only on the level of technical-tactical and physical preparedness, but also on the functional state of regulatory systems, the speed of sensorimotor responses, and the adaptive capabilities of the athlete [3; 7; 11]. In modern sports selection theory, a comprehensive approach to assessing the prospects of young athletes is becoming increasingly important. This approach involves consideration of morphofunctional, psychophysiological, and adaptive characteristics of the organism [4; 5]. This is especially relevant during adolescence (13–14 years), when intensive processes of functional maturation and the formation of long-term adaptation mechanisms to physical loads occur [3; 8]. In the system of long-term training of young futsal players, monitoring physical preparedness and functional adaptation of the organism is of particular importance, since these indicators largely determine the effectiveness of training and competitive activities [1; 4]. Assessment of adaptive capabilities allows a more objective determination of sports prospects and the effectiveness of adaptation to specific futsal loads. Analysis of modern scientific literature indicates that the issue of comprehensive use of indicators of physical preparedness and functional adaptation in the system of
