280 sports selection of young futsal players remains insufficiently studied [4; 7]. This determines the necessity of conducting studies aimed at substantiating informative criteria for assessing the prospects of young athletes in futsal. The purpose of the study was the theoretical and experimental substantiation of criteria for sports selection and monitoring of preparedness of promising young futsal players aged 13–14 years based on a comprehensive assessment of indicators of physical preparedness, functional adaptation, cellular resistance, and immunological reactivity of the organism. Thirty male adolescents aged 13–14 years participated in the study. Depending on the characteristics of motor activity, the participants were divided into two groups: the main group — young futsal players (n=15) and the control group — non-athletes (n=15). Young futsal players had been engaged in futsal training for 3–5 years. Training sessions were conducted 4–5 times per week according to sports training programs. All participants were practically healthy and admitted to physical education and sports activities based on medical examination results. The study was conducted in accordance with generally accepted bioethical requirements and principles of voluntary participation and informed parental consent. The results of the comparative analysis of physical preparedness indicators of futsal players and non-athletes aged 13–14 years are presented in Figures 1, 2, and 3. The analysis of the obtained results revealed statistically significant intergroup differences in most studied indicators. It was established that futsal players demonstrated higher levels of speed abilities, coordination preparedness, and speed endurance compared to non-athletes. Visualization of running test results clearly demonstrates the superiority of futsal players over non-athletes in all studied indicators of speed and speed endurance (Fig. 1).
