This large-scale population displacement has become a major challenge for the state, requiring not only active measures by the government but also the involvement of civil society and the implementation of long-term social support strategies. Under current conditions, the issue of working with internally displaced persons has become particularly relevant in both theoretical and practical terms. The challenges of ensuring adequate social protection, adaptation, and integration of IDPs into their new environment are the focus of particular attention from scholars, practitioners, and government agencies. This is entirely understandable, as millions of Ukrainians have been forced to leave their homes due to military operations, loss of housing, or threats to their lives and health. Against this backdrop, social work becomes not only a means of providing assistance but also a mechanism for preserving dignity and ensuring the social integration of internally displaced persons. Therefore, researching effective methods and practices of social support for IDPs is key to developing sustainable solutions in the context of humanitarian aid and post- crisis recovery. Encouraging the active participation of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in temporary employment is crucial. Employment not only empowers them to meet their basic needs but also plays a significant role in contributing to the country's economic growth by bolstering tax revenues and reducing the strain on social welfare programs. To enhance the employment process and system for IDPs, it is recommended to adopt the following measures: - Establish a dedicated online job search platform specifically designed for IDPs or integrate with existing platforms by creating specialized sections featuring job opportunities for them. It is equally important to ensure volunteers assist in raising awareness among IDPs about the availability of such resources. - Implement comprehensive solutions to address childcare challenges faced by IDP families. This could involve creating volunteer-based centers that also function partially as daycare facilities, fostering community-led childcare initiatives, and streamlining bureaucratic procedures for opening volunteer-operated or semi- commercial childcare centers. - Strengthen avenues of social support by promoting
